Steve is a Vice-President with a global commercial construction firm, Skanska supporting the greater San Antonio market. He is married to his college sweetheart, Summer and has two children (Chase (Soph.) and Caroline (8th). Steve has maintained an active role in Comal ISD where he has served on a number of committees and is also the current Comal Education Foundation President. Outside of the district Steve serves on the board of San Antonio Sports, plays an active role in the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and is active in multiple industry organizations. Steve and his family are diehard Texas Longhorn fans and enjoy traveling to Florida and Colorado when not attending kids athletic events.
